How to play Oz Lotto

In order to win the jackpot, Oz Lotto players must match 7 numbers from 45 with the lottery balls drawn in the Tuesday Oz Lotto draw. Oz Lotto is the big game that guarantees a Division One prize pool of at least AUD$1 Million every Tuesday night.

Overview

There are five prize divisions in OZ Lotto. To win a prize you need to get at least three of the winning numbers and one or both of the supplementary numbers in any one game.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 45,379,620:1.
The odds of winning any prize are now 55:1, this gives you approximately a four times better chance of winning a prize than before!

Oz lotto was launched in February 1994 and was the first fully national lottery to run in Australia. Originally starting as a 6/45 lotto game, the seventh ball was introduced in October 2005 to increase the prize divisions and the number of lotto prizes.

In one of the recent changes, Oz Lotto has been rebranded and is now also known as Super 7's Oz Lotto and Oz 7 Lotto.
